Description
OBS Studio is a free, open-source application for real-time video recording and live streaming.
OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) is a free and open-source cross-platform program used for video recording and live streaming. It provides a scene-based workflow in which users can compose output from multiple sources, such as display capture, window capture, webcam/video capture devices, images, text, and application audio, and switch between scenes during recording or broadcast. The software includes a configurable audio mixer with per-source controls and supports filters and effects such as noise suppression, noise gate, gain, and compression, as well as video filters and chroma keying. OBS Studio supports hardware-accelerated encoding on compatible systems and can output to local files or stream to online services and custom RTMP endpoints.
It is widely used for game streaming, screen capture, tutorials, presentations, and professional live production, and it is extensible through a plugin ecosystem and scripting options for automation and customization.
